Actually in bf3 the air to ground missiles look like AGM65 "mavericks" from the outside and in real life they are not laser guided they lock on to tanks and vehicles by the aircrafts radar and when they? fire they track by a tv camera or an infrared camera on the missle. nice vid btw :)

Air radar,guided missiles, and exting is the only thing you ever need. and snipers use your soflams they even work on helicopters so guided missiles can? rape them out of the sky

i havent gotten a jet yet while it was targeted, the missle missed, but whenever there is a helicopter targeted with a laser painter of some sort, its a 1 shot kill for guided missles just like javalin and guided? shell.

your jet is not going to cap any flags or arm any mcoms or kill a bunch of infantry... I do myself like flying the jet... almost on my 3rd service star with it... but you are? still only looking for enemy jets and vehicles... and in hardcore you are useally relying on your team mates to laser designate vehicles so you can see them...
